Rereporters learned that the "energy saving and new energy bus key technology research and development and industrialization" project after ten years of technical breakthroughs, formed a number of key technological innovation, to achieve pure electric, plug-in, hybrid power platform development, and completed 6 to 18 meters of energy saving and new energy bus series products. At present, the focus technology of new energy vehicles is the innovation of battery technology. According to the relevant project leader, the integrated management technology of power battery in the Yutong project proposed the accelerated test method of power battery capacity decay and the estimation method of battery state of charge (SOC) based on data drive, which can extend the driving range by 4% on average after batch test.


At the same time, a kind of battery box structure with heat preservation, heat dissipation and moisture-proof functions and a comprehensive thermal management system were also invented, and a power battery box with IP67 protection grade was developed, which solved the problem of wading safety and adaptability in high and cold regions. In addition, Yutong has also made major breakthroughs in efficient power system, vehicle control and energy saving technology, forming an electric and intelligent mode to achieve energy saving and emission reduction.


"China in the process of new energy vehicle industrialization is generally faced with key parts rely on imports, low integration, high cost; Power battery system has short life and poor environmental adaptability. The vehicle energy utilization rate is low, driving range is short and so on." Wan Xinming, vice president of the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, said that the project has broken through the three major technical problems that have long restricted the development of energy-saving and new energy buses, and is conducive to the large-scale promotion and application of pure electric, plug-in and hybrid buses.


It is understood that at present, the key technology of the project has been batch applied to 6 to 18 meters of energy-saving and new energy bus series products, obtained 112 product announcements, covering medium, large, extra-large buses, to meet the needs of the city bus, line passenger transport, airport ferry, business reception, organizations and other market segments.


The replacement trend of new energy passenger cars is accelerating


Although the overall domestic automobile market was in a downturn in 2015, the production and sales of new energy vehicles showed a trend of overspeed growth, especially the production and sales data of pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles doubled.


According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China sold 171,100 new energy vehicles in the first 10 months of 2015, compared with about 180,000 in the United States, the world's largest market for new energy vehicles. Based on the sales volume, China is expected to become the world's largest market for new energy vehicles.


"From the hot development situation of the new energy bus market in 2015, the replacement trend of the new energy bus to the traditional bus has become increasingly obvious. According to industry insiders, in 2015, China's new energy bus market share has been as high as 47.81%, and the proportion is still rising. In addition, the substitute role of group bus and tourist bus has gradually been recognized by the market.


Data show that from January to November in 2015, the total sales volume of Yutong energy-saving and new energy buses reached 17,965 units, driving the development of the industrial chain of raw materials, parts, assemblies, vehicles and services, and realizing a substantial value-added of the industry.


The improvement of the market comes from the continuous progress of new energy bus technology and the support of policies. It is understood that since the development goal of new energy vehicles was proposed in 2012, China has introduced a series of policies and measures, such as financial subsidies, priority of right of way, license plate opening, and the newly released "Made in China 2025" strategy is clearly proposed to continue to support the development of electric vehicles and fuel vehicles. The CPC Central Committee's Proposal on the Formulation of the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development also includes the promotion of new energy vehicles in the national important plan and requires the improvement of the industrialization level of electric vehicles.
